Our Story

A’s Famous was founded in 1998 by an American, Michael, and his Thai wife Sophie. Together, they have been living in Koh Phangan for over 30 years!

Michael manages the day to day runnings of the restaurant. He and his staff go to the local Koh Phangan market every morning to hand-select the produce to ensure that all customers are served high quality, fresh meals!

Homemade Bread
All the bread we served is baked in-house. We use the highest quality ingredients with recipes adjusted to perfection. All breads are available for takeaway! We also provide breads wholesale for resorts and restaurants!
Home-Roasted Beef and Pastrami
We import the beef from Australia, spice it and roast it here in our kitchen. A's Famous Roast Beef can be served on a French baguette or as a Roast Beef Dinner with vegetables and potatoes.
Homemade Juices
We offer a variety of slow-pressed juices, using local fruits and vegetables. 100% pure juices, no chemicals, no added sugar.
Home-Roasted Coffee
A's is known for our fresh brewed coffee. Our beans come from Chiang Mai, Thailand and are roasted right here at our restaurant. This way we can guarantee that each batch is roasted to perfection. Not only will you have the best coffee on the island, but you can have it just the way you like it. We offer real milk, white and brown sugar, and you can can choose to have it hot or iced cold.
